This was most likely made with 2 or more images to help create an illusion of an elemental newton's cradle. It is a piece of digital art because it can't be painted naturally. An actual newton's cradle doesn't have the modifications that this picture allows it to have. Inputting different elemental aspects in the picture makes it a type of digital editing. A person can't create this without a computer because a computer can merge 2 or more images into one and without a computer someone can't do that.
I chose this image because of my fascination of the elements and science. I love the idea of the newton's cradle and the physics behind it. It also reminded me of my grandfather's law office, he has a newton's cradle on his desk. I also love the concept of the picture, wind or air is knocking into the other four, causing a chain reaction.

Ashley Madison Response
The members of the Impact team aren't despicable criminals. They were doing something they believed to be right. This team of hackers wanted to show the world that there are sites online that allow for things like marriage in society to be desecrated. The ashley madison website was technically given an ultimatum on the matter of shutting down their website. They refused and it caused their information and the customers of their sites information to be leaked and seen publicly. As owners of the site they should be protecting their customers. Since there is no law for someone to persecuted for cheating, the Ashley Madison website wasn't doing anything wrong. The hackers were doing a robin hood style just for the spouse that was affected by their spouse cheating. Even though The hackers did this to release information, it should have been done in a way that didn't leak customer information to the public.

The current copyright law in the United States allows for the creator to "keep" their work and it won't become public domain until 70 years after their death. This law allows for the creator's family children or not to be able to live in a moderate lifestyle. This law provides compensation to the creator because it not only takes care of the themselves, but also their family after the creator or inventor's death. The time period of 70 years after death allows for the life expectancy of the average human. Before this law was enacted the creative property and content such as inventions, titles, objects, etc. were put into public domain after the time that was stated in the current law was over. The law in place today was the result of Walt Disney's death in 1923 and the ownership of Mickey Mouse, the cartoon character. The current law in place today may restrict certain actions someone takes to use the creative property of another, but there are certain rules to follow that can justify the use of the creative property. One has to ask themselves questions as to the why, the what, and the quantity of the work before they can used it without persecution. The Law today is restricting but for a good reason so that the creative content or property can get credited.
