Identity theft is a big problem to online users. Now that we have the access to the internet and other various technologies, we become more vulnerable to attacks. Identity theft isn't only about stealing a persons identity but it is also an invasion of privacy. someone is willingly invading someones account for their information just to make off with money or other materialistic items. Also when a person's identity is stolen large purchases are made on their accounts when it is not them and causes them to pay for  "help" in a way to correct the account problems. A person's social security number isn't safe as well. There is no true way to stop identity theft because of our current technological advancements.
